The Letter Nest is a collection of Alphabet and Name Prints by New York City-based artist Sally King McBride, comprising 13 themed alphabets—from Woodland to Paris to Dessert—which customers can shop as full prints, or personalize using their names and monograms. Each watercolor celebrates the artistic connection of letter and image: A for Acorn, B for Balloons, C for Cherry Blossom, rendering these alphabets both delightful and educational. The Letter Nest has been featured in Glamour, AD, House Beautiful, Red Tricycle, and Scary Mommy, and is a favorite of Busy Toddler, Eva Chen, and Jill Kargman.
All artwork is painted, printed, and framed in the U.S.A.
My most requested alphabets to date, partial proceeds of which will support organizations battling climate change.
Following over ten years working at The Met, and a long-running side business of watercolor portraiture, Sally King McBride launched The Letter Nest in 2019. Her artistic training includes an M.A. and B.A. in Art History, and courses at RISD, the Sorbonne, and the School of the MFA, Boston. Through her artwork, Sally lends a fine art touch to the Alphabet—delighting both children and their grown-ups in the process. Sally is a 2021 Tory Burch Foundation Fellow, and loves collaborating with other women-owned businesses. She lives in New York City with her husband, two young sons, and a closet full of artwork.
