The Letter Nest is a collection of elevated Alphabet Art by New York City-based artist Sally King McBride. Her 13 themed alphabets—from Woodland to Paris to Dessert—celebrate the artistic connection of letter and image, from A for Acorn to Z for Zodiac, rendering her work both delightful and educational. The Letter Nest has been featured in Glamour, AD, House Beautiful, Red Tricycle, and Scary Mommy, and is a favorite of Eva Chen, Jill Kargman, and Eva Amurri.
All artwork is painted, printed, and framed in the U.S.A.
Following over ten years working at The Met, Sally King McBride launched The Letter Nest in 2019. Her artistic training includes an M.A. and B.A. in Art History, including courses at RISD, the Sorbonne, and the School of the MFA, Boston. Each of her Alphabets tells a story, infused by her deep knowledge of fine and art history, and delighting children and their grown-ups in the process.
Sally is a 2021 Tory Burch Foundation Fellow, and a frequent collaborator with other women-owned businesses. She lives in New York City with her husband, two young sons, and a closet full of artwork.
