The Letter Nest is a collection of watercolor Alphabet Art by New York City-based artist Sally King McBride, whose decade of experience working at The Metropolitan Museum of Art informs her fine-art approach to letter and image. Choose from 13 themed alphabets—from Woodland to Paris to Dessert—to shop as an Alphabet Print, or as a custom Name Print.
All artwork is painted, printed, and framed in the U.S.A.
Following over ten years working at The Met, Sally King McBride launched The Letter Nest in 2019. Her artistic training includes an M.A. and B.A. in Art History, including courses at RISD, the Sorbonne, and the School of the MFA, Boston. Each of her Alphabets tells a unique story, infused by her deep knowledge of fine art and art history—and delighting children and their grown-ups in the process.
Sally is a 2021 Tory Burch Foundation Fellow, and a frequent collaborator with other women-owned businesses. She lives in New York City with her husband, two young sons, and a closet full of artwork.
